  • This sweet business was a result of a dare between former owner, Jim Lampman, of Burlington's Ice House Restaurant on Lake Champlain and his pastry chef. After receiving many boxes of chocolates, the pastry chef confronted Jim, telling him they were terrible, and in return, was told to then try to make better ones. Now, all of the fine chocolates are made in the 24,000 square foot factory in downtown Burlington. Come enjoy the sight and smell of chocolates that NY Times claims is, "Some of the best chocolate in the country."

Lake Champlain Chocolates is a local chocolate company specializing in premium chocolates, confections, rich hot cocoas, unique espresso drinks and delectable ice cream. We offer a comfortable atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff, all conveniently located near the flagship factory store. It's the perfect place to get a little sweet or to ship a bundle of chocolates to a friend.
