As one of the very first efforts from Burlington City Arts in 1981, the Free Concert Series has become a tradition in Burlington's Battery Park for young and old, residents and visitors. The concerts take place on five consecutive Thursdays at the height of Lake Champlain's summer and feature regional musicians. |

Festival of Fools |

Come one! Come all! Burlington City Arts and the Church Street Marketplace are pleased to present the first Annual Festival of Fools, on the Church Street Marketplace featuring a host of performances from jugglers, acrobats and musicians to physical comedians and dancers.
Busking, or street performing, is a profession steeped in tradition. Performers bring their talents directly to the streets, and "pass the hat" to passers by. The Church Street Marketplace has always been home to several talented buskers, and the Festival of Fools is meant to celebrate and highlight some of the great acts that can be seen right in downtown Burlington. |
