On Friday, November 27 (the day after Thanksgiving), downtown comes alive with the holiday spirit with a mixed-venue pre-winter festival.

Santa Parade: Santa sneaks away from the North Pole on Friday for our annual holiday parade. His visit starts at noon on City Hall Block and ends at Burlington Town Center, where kids are welcome to follow him into the mall for a visit. Free miniature pony rides, too!

Performance and Lighting Ceremony: At 5:30 p.m., the Open Stage Company presents a production of “Twas the Night Before Christmas,” culminated by the illumination of 100,000 lights on Church Street (a cherished tradition). Official lighting is time 6:05 p.m. sharp.
