Vermont Violin is dedicated to promoting the study of violins, violas, cellos & bass for every level of players and performers. They have a wonderfully affordable rental program and options for each instrument. They provide on-site support, repair, restoration and more. The Burlington shop is one of three shops, the other two are in West Lebanon, NH and Montpelier, VT. They have four luthiers in the Burlington Violin Shop. Jim Banicki is the head Luthier. He has 35 years of luthier experience including 15 years with Kenneth Warren and Sons in Chicago, Ill. Harry Grabenstein is known nationwide for the baroque bows he creates and he has rehaired bows for this shop for roughly 15 years.
