Founded in 1989, Quarterstaff Games is Vermont's largest and oldest gaming store, and one of the largest in New England. You'll find our sister-store, Earth Prime Comics on the first floor below us. Our retail space was created as a bar and operated under the name B.T. McGuire's for a number of years before Quarterstaff Games came into being, but we have kept (and supplemented) the medieval tavern atmosphere of the premises: torches line the walls above bookcases, and the warm glow from wooden banisters and arches retrieved from churches create a cozy nook where gamers from all over have been escaping from the cold, cruel world of reality for over 18 years.
