Spring is here -- and warmer weather is on its way! Don't miss these Spring events in downtown Burlington.
Ben and Jerry's will be serving up FREE ice cream from Noon to 8pm at their Church Street Scoop Shop. You'd better start thinking about the tough decisions you'll need to make: Which flavor? Cup or cone?
Vermont Restaurant Week will feature 26 downtown Burlington restaurants - including Pascolo Ristorante, Ri Ra Irish Pub and Sweetwaters located on the Church Street Marketplace. Make your reservation early for this special event to benefit the Vermont Foodbank!
Join H.O.P.E. Works for their 38th annual Take Back the Night March and Speakout on April 26th to raise awareness about sexual violence in Chittenden County. The rally will begin at 5pm at Royal Tyler Theatre where participants will then march down to Church Street and end at City Hall.
Come on down to the Church Street Marketplace and try out your Cornhole throwing skills in preparation of Lunds "Pitchin' for a Purpose" Cornhole Tournament presented by NorthCountry Federal Credit Union. If you enjoy the "throw" you can find out more info on how to register for the actual tournament that will take place on May 12th at the Burlington International Airport.
The Summer Series with Sukha Yoga is a weekly donation based yoga class held on the Top Block of The Church Street Marketplace. Join us every Sunday at 9am for an outdoor practice led by one of the instructors from this local studio! Each class will benefit a non-profit organization in our community. All ages and skill levels are welcome. Remember to bring your own mat!
The annual COTS Walk is a 3.5-mile trek around downtown Burlington that starts in Battery Park and follows the path a person experiencing homelessness might travel to connect with COTS shelter and services. This is the one day of the year COTS opens our program spaces to the community so people can see how their support makes a difference. Register here!
The Burlington Farmers' Market has been rated one of the best Farmers' Markets in the country - and we can understand why! The popular market has been held in City Hall Park every Saturday since 1980 where 90+ stands overflow with seasonal produce, flowers, artisan wares, prepared foods, and more.
Congrats to all the University of Vermont Class of 2018 graduates and their families! UVM Seniors who show their Senior Week wrist band at participating Church Street businesses will receive special discounts from May 14-20, 2018!
